Day 03 — Favorite female character and why.

Well, the women of Sherlock don’t get much love, do they? (Starting from their creators, it would seem).
Anyway, I loved Sarah Sawyer. She wasn’t just a beautiful airhead, she was an intelligent doctor with a delightful sense of humor. And she could kick ass. I mean, look at the way she ran to John’s help at the Chinese circus, attacking one of the performers with… a broom? Whatever it was. It was awesome.
But of course, at the end she was reduced to yet another damsel in distress. Blimey.

I also think John and Sarah made an awfully adorable couple, and I loved the awkward flirting between them.

Sarah: So… what were you doing? To keep you up so late?
John: I was attending a sort of… book event.
Sarah: Oh. She likes books, does she, your… your girlfriend? (WELL ISN’T THAT SMOOTH?)
John: Hmm? No, it wasn’t- it wasn’t a date.
Sarah: Good. I mean…
John: And I don’t have one tonight. *smiles and looks ridiculously cute*
